Trumpeter Ron Horton and bassist Dave Phillips have been in the group since 1998. Together they glide through free improvisations and crisp arrangements.
The group has two CDs out on the Clean Feed label: Reed Song and Singing to a Bee, and are working on a third CD, a collaboration with the Portuguese pianist Bernardo Sassetti.
